Where would you establish your home base to practice self isolation, social distancing and above all connect with the nature?
In the midst of the Covid-19 CoronaVirus crisis as everyone is practicing Social distancing it would be ideal to have a living space where you not only connect with the nature but also reduce your contact with fellow humans until the crisis is over.
Ideally you want solace in the woods where you have the opportunity to meditate, self-reflect, get partial sunlight and connect with the nature. Take short walks in the wood, get some fresh air and breath in phytoncides to helps boost your immune system. You need a library packed with books from genres of Philosophy, non-fiction, sci-fi novels, history, science and literature. The house needs to be self-sufficient to generate electricity from Solar panels, access to ground water and a garden where you grow your own food. While it may not be able to achieve all of the requirements you can still find some places that would offer some level of quiet and comfort.
Here are some places in the world that can potentially offer this type of environment.
- Patagonia, Chile
- Western Ghats in Kerala, India
- Colorado Springs, USA
- Graham Island, Canada
- Tasmania, Australia
- Lake Placid, Adirondacks, USA
- Tekapo, New Zealand
- Hachijo Island, Japan
